I AM

 

When I sit in the solace of silence:

I’m inundated with gratitude

Then occurs a needed shift in attitude

 

When I sit in the solace of silence:

My mind is still and wonders no more

Physically, mentally, and spiritually I focus deep

within my very core.

 

When I sit in the solace of silence:

The cares of this life

Cease with all strife.

 

When I sit in the solace of silence:

I return to the healthy whole

Tis there I have special holy communion

with the One Spirit

Who is omniscient, all loving and yes indeed

Has all in complete control.

 

When I sit in the solace of silence:

I AM;

I AM present in the moment being gifted to me.

I AM;

I AM a divine manifestation of the CREATOR’S decree.
